LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Benjamin Rosenberg, D.D.S., 58, a Los Angeles, California-based dentist has been charged with six counts of health care fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft. Benjamin Rosenberg, D.D.S., was arrested on March 12, 2018, making his initial court appearance before the honorable Jean Rosenbluth at the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building and United States Courthouse, 255 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA, 90012, Courtroom 690, 6th Floor. The indictment alleges that Benjamin Rosenberg, D.D.S. billed various insurance companies for dental services that were never rendered, and billed numerous insurance companies using his patient's identification without their authorization.
An indictment is merely an allegation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
