MIDDLETOWN, OHIO - In May 2017, the small Warren County community was electrified when Brooke Skylar Richardson, 18, was arrested and charged with felonies for the alleged killing, burning, and burying of her newborn baby. Richardson was released on $15,000 bond, and the family hired attorney Charles Rittgers. According to Warren County prosecutors, Richardson never returned for an ultrasound, blood work or any other treatment after learning she was pregnant. Now, conversations between, Dr. William Andrew, Dr. Casey Boyce, and Richardson will be admitted as evidence in her upcoming trial. The judge said that doctor-patient privilege doesn’t apply in the case.
