RUFFIN, SOUTH CAROLINA - According to authorities, Ryan Dean Langdale, 19, turned against his 17-year-old cousin, and shot him for eating his salt-and-vinegar potato chips. He turned himself into the Colleton County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday. He was charged with attempted murder, including, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and obstruction of justice after learning he switched weapons while on the crime scene. The sheriff's office said Langdale told deputies his cousin was cleaning a hunting rifle and accidentally shot himself. Which, was untrue. Langdale remains behind bars in lieu of $55,000 bail.
