PLANO, TEXAS - A bartender, Lindsey Glass, 27, at the Local Public House, who served, Spencer Hight, 32, a man who killed eight people at his ex-wife's house in September 10, 2017 was arrested and charged last week by authorities. In 2018, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission reported that Glass violated Texas law by serving Spencer Hight enough drinks that his blood alcohol level was four times the state's legal limit. On September 10, 2017, Glass told her colleague that Hight was drunk and brandished a gun inside the bar. Investigators claim that Glass should have known not to serve Hight, because she was certified by the state to identify and avoid the sale of alcohol to intoxicated patrons. Last year, The Local Public House lost its license to sell alcohol. Glass has not been formally charged and is out on bail. She faces up to a year in prison, a fine of $500, or both.
