JOHNSON CITY, TENNESSEE - Luke Sky Walker, 21, was arrested Thursday by law enforcement officials in Elizabethton, Tennessee, for violating code 92-23-005(A), a probation violation, in connection with a felony theft charge. Walker was taken into custody at the Probation and Parole Office before being taken to the Carter County Detention Center. His arrest caught the attention of American stage, screen and voice actor, Mark Richard Hamill. The movie star is recognized for playing Luke Skywalker, a fictional character, in the Star Wars film series and to a lesser degree for his voice-over work in animations and video games as the Joker, beginning with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992.
"The real crime here is Mr. & Mrs. Walker saddling this poor guy with that name in the first place. #MisbegottenMoniker #AlsoTooShortForAStormtrooper," tweeted Mark Hamill.
