TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA - Fabián Andrés Maidana, 14 wins, 10 knockouts, 0 losses, nicknamed TNT, was born on June 22, 1992 in Margarita, Santa Fe, Argentina. He followed in the footsteps of his brother, Marcos "Chino" Maidana, two-weight world champion, and trained at Honor y Patria Gym in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a 10 year old. He learned every trick in the book, and was hand-picked to fight for the Olympic team of Argentina. He was coached by Sarbelio Fuentes, became a sub-champion, and gained experience on an elite level. Sarbelio Fuentes honed Fabian's skills, and created a monster. Fabian went to United States, Mexico, Russia, Israel, Singapore, and other parts of the world to compete for the juvenile Olympic team, winning a bronze medal.
Fabian made his debut on June 21, 2014 against Eddie Diaz at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, and won by unanimous decision on a Golden Boy Promotions card. Fabian stepped up the ladder with 14 wins, 10 knockouts, 0 losses, and is signed permanently with Al Haymon, expecting a world title fight soon.
