Redfin data scientists assessed real estate listings for every house sold between January 1, 2017, and put together a list of the highest number of eco-friendly homes in the U.S.. Residents of Shaker Heights, Ohio is the epitome of a city that works endlessly to promote sustainable living. The City of Shaker Heights encourages their residents to reduce their carbon footprint by offering a recycling program, home energy assessments, energy incentive programs, access to financing for solar panels and more.
