NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - It’s a Thanksgiving tradition at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church: turkey giveaway.
“Famfirst”, as he is known, has been providing Thanksgiving cheer to families in need for two years. He handed out 50 free turkeys this year at “St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church.” He is the founder and executive producer of Famfirst Empire, an independent record label, in Panorama City, California.
"A couple of us at Famfirst Empire remember coming from low-income backgrounds, and attending churches for Thanksgiving as kids. Now, as adults, we can finally give back to our community thanks to the success we've experienced in the music industry," said Steve Hernandez.
Steve has become a pioneer in the San Fernando Valley. For the last five years, he has teamed up with Roy Albert Andrade, owner of K1LLER, Inc., and Jorge "Spooky" Martinez, owner of MOBG Entertainment, to provide toys, and school supplies to inner-city children in need. This Thanksgiving, Steve marched alone and paid for the gifts from his own funds, including, donations. He said his goal is to bring attention to what the “spirit of the season” really means.
"Happy Thanksgiving," said Steve Hernandez
