INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - The 48-year-old Chuck "The Ice Man" Liddell (21-8), told CBS Sports on November 20, 2018 that his rival Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz (19-12-1) is nothing more than a "tuneup" for greater things. However, things did not going according to Chuck Liddell's game plan. Ortiz, now, 20-12-1, patiently circled Liddell, and countered with a pair of counter right hands to knock "The Ice Man" out for the night. The pay-per-view bout, promoted by boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy MMA, turned out to be a success. Disclosed purses by the California State Athletic Commission saw Liddell earn $250,000 and Ortiz take home $200,000 in guaranteed pay.
