LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - American musician, singer, songwriter, author, actor, and businessman, Willie Nelson, 85, has enlarged his Willie’s Reserve catalog of cannabis with “Last Man Standing,” the company's first signature strain in California. Last Man Standing was grown in California’s fertile Emerald Triangle, a region in Northern California, named as such due to it being the largest cannabis-producing region in the U.S.A, and bred from some of the geographic's legendary strains.
“It comes from this huge plant with beautiful buds,” says Shane Osburn, who bred and cultivated Last Man Standing with his wife Amelia at Sol Grow Mendocino using organic practices and permaculture techniques. “It’s so expressive of its characteristics, when you walk past the plant it smells like an orange tree.”
“Willie is a soldier for the cannabis community,” adds Amelia. “We have total respect for how he’s told the world about what we do, through his music and through who he is.”
Willie’s Reserve is owned and operated by GCH Inc. to develop a portfolio of cannabis brands.
